Program Overview:

AIMS College has kept a step ahead by introducing short courses that are well suited for school leavers and professionals who want to keep pace with rapidly changing technology, gain practical experience in software tools and current market trends.  These courses are proven to be suitable for students and workers who anticipate gaining experience and further qualifications in IT, Web & Multimedia within a short period.

Certificates are issued by AIMS College and we are registered with TVEC (Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission) and the students gain an opportunity to proceed government recognized qualifications. Necessary course materials will be provided by the institute. Apart from that we do career guidance based on student’s performance during coursework.

Assessment:

Assessment is based on final project given to the students. Assignments will be given by the lecturer end of each course. The student has to complete the final projects and submit with a CD or DVD before deadlines given to obtain the marks. Late submissions will be penalized.

Grading System:

The following grading system is adopted for evaluation of short courses.
80 - 100% - Distinction
60 - 79% - Merit
40 - 59% - Pass
Less than 40% - Fail
