 IFM100 Business Studies 1:

Develop an understanding of both the operational and strategic problems facing the business enterprise in the modern market economy. The module will focus on area of Human Resource Development.

 IFM101 Business Studies 2:

Continue developing an understanding of both the operational and strategic problems facing the business enterprise in the modern market economy. This module considers the practical aspects of setting up, establishing and running a business and looks at the external influences that could have a major impact on the business’s success.

 IFM102 Accounting :

This course is an introduction to the basics of accounting. It is designed to summarize the basic nature of the accounting profession; define and apply financial and managerial accounting terms; analyze, record and report transactions for service and merchandising businesses.

 IFM 103 Principles of Economics 1:

Understand economic systems, types of goods, allocation of resources, elasticity, price controls, types of markets, cost and revenue, economies of scale and market failure.

 IFM 104 Principles of Economics 2:

Learn about aggregate demand and aggregate supply, economic policies, inflation, unemployment, international trade and development economics.

 IFM 105 Principles of Marketing :

Provide students with a working knowledge of fundamental marketing concepts.  The main focus is on the basic principles of marketing (4 P’s & S-product, promotion, place and price & service) and how these elements are brought together in a cohesive marketing strategy.  Additional topics include market segmentation, positioning, consumer behavior, global marketing and marketing ethics.

 IFM 106 Introduction to General Management :

Planning; Organizing, Direction, Control; Role and responsibilities of managers at different levels; Working with Teams; Office Etiquette and Discipline; Interpersonal Skills and Relations; Human Resources Management; Time Management.

 IFC 107 - Project Work :

Students are required to undergo with an individual project by selecting a company of their choice and concentrate on a problem area and give suggested solutions.
